atmx operates Australia’s largest fee-free ATM network, partnering with many banks to help customers access their cash without an atmx fee.

If your bank is part of the atmx network, you can withdraw cash, deposit and check your balance without paying an atmx fee. If your bank isn’t part of the atmx network, ask them to join atmx and avoid being charged a fee.

Your bank sets your daily limit

You can withdraw up to your card’s daily cash withdrawal limit.
Check with your bank to confirm your limit.

Available on selected atmx ATMs

You may be able to change your PIN at an atmx, depending on your bank and the ATM.

If available, you’ll see a “Change PIN” option on screen after you enter your current PIN.

For other options, or if you don’t see this feature, check with your bank.

atmx contactless (tap) supports Mastercard and Visa contactless cards, and digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay on phones and watches.

eftpos is not currently supported for contactless ATM transactions. You may also need to select Mastercard or Visa as your default card in your digital wallet.

Your card details are protected by the chip in your card or the secure digital wallet on your device.

The ATM does not store your card number.

Digital wallets add an extra layer of security, such as Face ID, fingerprint or device authentication, along with your PIN.

This also helps reduce risks like card skimming.

Card skimming is when someone attempts to capture your card details without your knowledge. Our ATMs are monitored for skimming activity to protect our cardholders. Using contactless also prevents the risk of skimming occurrences.
